A lot of thought has gone into the design elements associated with this pen: the nautilus shape is influenced by Fibonacci spirals, the pentagram end cap references the Five Elements, and even the cap and barrel lengths are made to accord with Da Vinci's Golden Ratio.

At its heart, though, this is still a highly practical fountain pen that can function as a superb everyday writer. Visconti's piston-fill system allows this pen to be filled with your choice of bottled fountain pen ink.

This set celebrates divine proportions, Phi, the ratio of 1.618. It includes a golden comparator, which calculates the golden mean between 0 and 15cm.
